How to get the cheapest fare
- Be flexible by a day or two. Midweek flights (Tuesday–Wednesday) are often cheaper than Friday or Sunday.
- Book early for festivals and holidays. Diwali, Christmas–New Year and summer vacation fares climb fast.
- Check the baggage before you pay. The cheapest fare may not include a check-in bag — add it at booking, not at the airport.
- Compare the total price. Look at the final amount with taxes and fees, not just the first number you see.
- Try nearby airports. From Jaipur, sometimes flying via Delhi works out cheaper — compare both.
